Vistamaxx™ Propylene-based Elastomer in PP Random Copolymer

Vistamaxx™ propylene-based elastomers are olefinic elastomers based on ExxonMobil Chemical’s proprietary Exxpol™ metallocene technology. They are unique semicrystalline copolymers of propylene and ethylene. Vistamaxx propylene-based elastomer elastic properties are the consequence of a predominantly amorphous ethylene propylene (EP) matrix laced with a network of fine, well-dispersed isotactic polypropylene (PP) crystallites. As a result, Vistamaxx propylene-based elastomers bring elasticity, flexibility and impact toughness while maintaining clarity in PP random copolymer (RCP) blends.
