Coefficient of Friction -- Vistamaxx™ Propylene-based Elastomers Against Glass and SS

Coefficient of Friction -- Vistamaxx™ Propylene-based Elastomers Against Glass and SSviewable by registered users only

Vistamaxx™ propylene-based elastomers are unique semi-crystalline copolymers of propylene and ethylene that possess a unique compatibility with polypropylene (PP). This document presents results for the coefficient of friction (COF) against glass and stainless steel surfaces for two Vistamaxx™ propylene-based elastomer grades and blends with polypropylene homopolymer (ExxonMobil™ PP5341 resin) and a polypropylene random copolymer (ExxonMobil™ PP5341 resin) at different percentages. Five grades of Vistamaxx™ propylene-based elastomer (3000, 3020, 3980, 6102 and 6202) were tested.
